Hexagon Oracle (Paphos) & Laiki Bank mortgages

Post by Janner »

I am sick and tired of the entire property situation. Our properties have been used as collateral for developers loans as part of a massive, government endorsed, fraud. The fact that the Cypriot authorities will not record it as fraud (criminal offence) is irrelevant. It is fraud in my opinion.

I am appealing to any purchaser of property at Hexagon Oracle in Paphos who has a mortgage with Laiki (now BOC) with a view to taking legal action. I would also consider a general action against Laiki for anyone with a loan (regardless of where they bought in Cyprus) who doesn't have title deeds. If you don't have title deeds there is a very good chance that your property has been used as collateral for the developers loan too. In effect, what we have is just a loan as there is very little chance of getting the property with a clear title and they know it. The 'wriggle room' regarding the issuing of title deeds in the MOU is clear to see. There is also the issue of the time limit.

Therefore, we must take legal action. One large group that cannot be ignored!

PM me if you're interested.

Well it looks like either forum members have it all figured out already or no one is interested. Funny, from reading the comments it sounds like there are many who still haven't got what they wanted!
