A few days ago I came across an Indian website http://www.Ipaidabribe.com where people can send their experiences of bribery, but without mentioning names, with the aim of giving some measure of the level of such corruption to put pressure on local/national government.

The site also mentioned Gandhigiri, or non-violent protest. Wikipedia has a description of Ghanhigiri including a description of the actions taken by a group of Indians caught up in 'green card' bueraucracy in the USA, when they each sent flowers to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services office who became swamped by them. Two weeks later the USCIS announced "it will accept applications from foreign professionals seeking permanent residency through an expedited process, reversing its earlier decision."


The flowers were passed on to a local hospital but their protest hit the national news.

As it is coming up to Easter here, I wonder if the Land Registry Offices would like some chocolate?
