property problems

Post by applecrumble »

Hi to everyone on this site, its very good and i have read through just about everything. I am very interested about the posts about judicare, it looks good and how they can help and have looked at their website. does anyone know how much their initial fee is?

I have a similar problem to others, bought properites from a developer. things were agreed at the sale have not all been honoured and they have changed the goal posts many times. now i discover there are developer mortgages on all three projects. I was sold them on the basis that i would make a profit, huh! some fat chance of that. now the situation is a nightmare, its difficult to know who to trust. have had a lawyer looking into a solution for me since last year but i still haven't been told a plan of action and so far nothing has happened, they are difficult to get hold of and every time i see them, they seem to have a new idea of what should be done which has left me very confused and feeling dispair that anything is going to be done. surely after 6months i should have been given a clear view of my position and things should surely be moving on a planned basis. instead i feel like i am having to fight the developer on my own. any thoughts anyone? is the time period unreasonable?

oh and yes i was one of those idiots who didn't get an independant lawyer to act for the purchase!

Hi applecrumble and welcome to the forum.

From what you say, I suspect that you may feel that you were mis-sold the property. This is something Judicare are investigating. There are other firms investigating for their clients, see City law firm to protect Cyprus buyers rights.

I don't know what their charges are, I suggest you give them a call.

Regards,
thanks Nigel, I'd like to see about going through judicare, because i like the way they are proposing help. otherwise, i may find that it will be next year and i am still no further forwards in this and just running up legal expenses, and my budget for this will run out, so judicares way of doing things appeals a lot.
