The property is located in Peyia.

Would like to know more about what these companies offer, what I should look for, or if anyone can vouch for a company they've worked with. Do they normally charge a percentage of the monthly rent that's collected? Do they ensure the property is not damaged by the lessees?

I'm interested in renting out long-term only for now.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Dear Irini,

Different companies do different things. Some will charge a %age of the rent, some may take the first rent and then a monthly charge.
They would be the key holder, do the rental contract , register the tenant for electric and be the call out in case of issues and organise trades people to fix and issue. They should prepare an inventory list of your items , if any, in the house and verify any references the tenant may have. Do you allow pets and this is a very common request?? if so, the contract should have a clause holding the tenant responsible for any damaged cause by their pets and pay to put them right.

The contract would or should have a clause for periodic inspections to ensure the property is being cared for and to pick up on any issues early on.

How would one go about finding a management company. Is it normally by word of mouth or might there be a website with information on various companies?

I'm open to any companies recommended on this forum.
