This is my first time back to the forum since 2019. My wife and I are now considering purchasing a country villa in a quiet part of the island. How has the property situation changed since 2019? Is it easier to get a title deed now? What is the state of villa prices now?

Hi Sailorpete and welcome back.

Very little (if anything) has changed since 2019. It's no easier to get a Title Deed now that it was three years ago.

As for property prices, they have fallen a bit since 2019 (check the price index at https://www.news.cyprus-property-buyers ... d=00165782 )

But having said that an attractive and well built property in a good location/spectacular setting with a title deed will command a higher than average price.
