Hello

I trying to get some information on the progress of the development, as it was due to be completed December 2008 and it seems there are delays and will not now be completed untill October 2009, just wondered whether there were any other members who are also purchasing there, who would be interested in getting in touch?
How is the general climate out there? I have read conflicting reports about the plight of the paphos and surrounding area and am starting to get a little nervous about the situation, am I right to be?

Hello Johnt96 and welcome to the forum.

It is very unusual for developers to complete their projects on time - late delivery is the norm. And I've heard nothing about Alpha Panareti to cause any concern.

Some developers in the expatriate and tourist areas have mothballed their unsold projects, but are continuing work on those that have been sold. Sales are down considerably this year.

If you don't get a reply here, there's a Paphos-based group called 'Cyprus Living' at http://www.cyprusliving.org/ quite a few of its members live in Peyia.
