Hi Nigel......What is the situation if a complex committee decides to allow a pool to be used without a lifeguard on duty without any real consultation with the owners. We have a new Pool sign which states Pool Open dusk till dawn ....no lifeguard on duty swimming at own risk.To me this implies that swimming is allowed when no Lifeguard is on duty, which I understand is not allowed.Who would be held responsible in the event of a control or incident.?
Regards Barry

The Management Committee - and I expect their public liability insurance would refuse any claim as the pool was operating illegally.bshatttock wrote: 04 May 2024 06:05Who would be held responsible in the event of a control or incident.?

Dusk until dawn! Are you sure the pool sign doesn’t read ‘dawn until dusk’?
