Relevant regulations
Hello everyone. We're part of a multi-owner, four-story building constructed in 2005, located in Limassol. We're keen on upgrading our apartments' insulation to enhance quality. We've heard that the government might cover a portion of the costs under certain conditions. Could anyone provide details on the relevant regulations and advise on how to proceed with planning? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Relevant regulations
Hi kellyarnett and welcome to the forum.
There are a couple of recent bits of information that should help:
1. ‘Photovoltaics for all’ given the green light.
This includes Roof insulation – General, includes a 50% grant and a maximum grant of €2,500 and/or €25 per sqm. This grant sees a 50% increase for homes located in mountainous regions.
2. RES communities: photovoltaics in apartment buildings.
This is an extension to the above for apartment buildings. But I have no further information. But there's more information from the European Commission at Energy communities.
I suggest you contact The Energy Department of the Energy, Environment and Water Research Centre (EEWRC) of the Cyprus Institute. The may have an insight regarding what's coming down the line later this year.
Regards,
