Dear Nigel,
We are currently building our own new property. However I would like to ask you, can we reclaim the VAT that we are spending/paying out on buying the building materials, concrete base etc. We have heard conflicting stories.
We also have a VAT registered company.

Hi Denny,

If the property you are constructing is owned by your company, then you should be able to reclaim the VAT.
