IPT 2013 valuations
I have just read the article on this subject. On looking at the valuations on other properties around ours found on the gov website would like to appeal against our evaluation. Could you please explain how I do it.

Hello excambridge and welcome to the forum.
I'll see what I can find out for you - there's bound to be a form somewhere that you will need to complete.
Regards,

Re: IPT 2013 valuations
Hi excambridge,
I called in the Limassol Land Registry yesterday and asked how you would go about appealing the 2013 valuation of your property:
You need to phone 77777730 - and follow the instructions (have your passport to hand) - or you can visit your local Citizens' Service Centre.
The Land Registry will check if they have made an error in their calculations.
(so far there is no fee to pay).
If the LR has made an error, you will need to visit the relevant LR office with your deed - and they will help you complete the appeal forms.
The charges for filing an appeal are as follows:
For properties valued up to €100,000, the charge is €37.50.
For properties valued between €100,001 and €500,000 the charge is €75.00.
For properties valued between €500,001 and €1 million, the charge is €150.00.
For properties valued in excess of €1 million, the charge is €357.00.
(There doesn't seem to be a way to appeal independently if you think the LR has made a mistake but they don't agree, which is annoying)

Re: IPT 2013 valuations
Just thought I would provide an up date on this. Well rather than ring them we thought we would call in and discuss the matter with them. They were most helpful, they checked our evaluation and asked us what our problem was. This we explained, similar properties around us we valued considerably less and could they give an explanation. This they did it appears they had undervalued the surrounding properties and ours was the only one where the pool had been included, they then went on to say they would revalue the others then. What can I say.
