Hi Nigel,
Hope you are well.I am keen to obtain the Title Deeds to my Cyprus property, and a neighbour who also wants to obtain his, has been to the Land Registry to apply.Apparently they have told him that our Developer, who has gone bust has not registered the properties on our Development. Can you advise how this affects us and what we need to do to obtain our deeds.Thank you.

Re: Title Deeds
Hi Mikey,
I'm fine thanks - currently escaping the summer heat in the UK.
I'm afraid getting your deeds is going to involve you in some expense. What would normally happen is that you would approach the court to appoint someone else to progress the issue of deeds. If the developer is bust then there may be outstanding debts to pay as well plus any taxes he owes.
I suggest you get a competent lawyer to look into what's happened and advise you how best to move things forward.
