The delay in this PIMCO business leads to me to the following questions.......
1. Does anyone know when the loan amounts held by the banks will be made public?
2. Is it this week, this month, this year?
I would really like to know but cannot find the answer anywhere.

I read the report again (http://www.financialmirror.com/news-det ... ?nid=28734) and it only states March. I don't know where I got the 2nd from. I must have made it up or imagined it. If I'm not careful I will be hired as the finance minster in the new government!
Re: Bank loan books
Have I missed something or has it all gone quiet on the BlackRock audit front?
According to the Cypriot Central Bank they didn't agree with important aspects of the PIMCO methodology whilst PIMCO state that they worked on data provided by the Central Bank. Someone is telling porkies!
Anyone know what is happening with the BlackRock audit? I wonder if the Central Bank will say that their methodology is also wrong!

Hi Janner,
I've heard nothing about Blackrock - recent news has been overshadowed by the presidential elections.

Re: Bank loan books
The press reported today that the TROIKA are looking to reduce the debt level of Cyprus to make it sustainable. I presume that in their assessment of the banks they have taken into consideration all the loans which are secured against land. Surely they must force the banks to realise the assets they have rather than just dismiss this and lend more?
That would be madness!
