Squatters

I wonder if anyone has any way of removing squatters from a Cyprus property? Basically we have a complex of 80 properties. One of the properties has never had any mortgage paid by the stated owner nor have any management fees ever been paid, however there is a family living in the property apparently totally free of any charge. Mild attempts to remove them have failed. Genuine owners are getting more and more frustrated as they are using the complex facilities, bring friends in who also use our facilities etc etc. Our developers appear to have no interest and I'm sure that they have enough problems of their own at the moment so this comparatively small problem is unlikely to receive any attention from them. If anyone has any suggestions or contacts to resolve this it would be very much appreciated.

If these were squatters, the developer would have taken action to have them removed. I suspect that the property has been rented by the developer or he is allowing friends/family members/ to use the vacant property.

If these people are causing a nuisance, you should report the matter to the police.
