Hello Nigel..I don,t know whether you recall but i wrote to you about two years ago with a couple of questions on a very old ruin thay we where substantially renovating into a 240sq mt property.Well after your help,a lot of hard work and thankfully very few minor problems we are now almost there and looking forward to moving in.
However we have been told that before moving in,the property needs something like a residency permit/living permit or similar.Everything has been passed during construction (electrics etc).Much appreciated if you could pass your thoughts on this...Thanks Terry Liversidge

Firstly, my apologies for the delay in answering your question - I've only just spotted it.
I have not heard of this requirement before - where did you get the information about this residency permit from?
Since Cyprus joined the EU, the only thing you need to own a property (as an EU citizen) is your passport.
