Hi, i am in the middle of a very messy property purchase in the Paphos area. I have commited to 2 properties on different developments from the same developer. I bought via an agent in the UK and was very badly misled. we are now looking for a way to get out of our contract. One situation i would appreciate clarification on is the power of attorney which we have now received back from our cypriot lawyer who no longer represents us. It has come to my attention that the POA should have been dated and countersigned, this is not the case and only my signature and that of my partner are on the POA. I would like to know the inplications of this situation, does this render any instructions from my lawyer to the bank and developer invalid? and can you advise a next move?
Regards,
Unhappyboy.

Re: Power of Attorney
Hi Unhappyboy and welcome to the forum.
I believe I know the companies involved in this situation - many people have similar issues.
I have sent you an email on how to progress matters.
