Agricultural Ga4 for living

Hi in the forum 🙋🏻‍♂️
A plot that is listed as a Ga4 zone. The irregular plot has an area of ​​only 1150sqm and there is a building on it with an area of ​​280sqm registered as a warehouse. Currently, there is no real agricultural area on the plot, is only gravel. Electricity is installed there.
Is it possible to achieve a change and use it for residential housing in the future? Thanks for any reply.

It is possible that land in a Γα4 agricultural zone could be rezoned at some time in the future, but it could take many decades.

Plans are reviewed every ten years - and if there's a demand for housing the area, land adjacent to residential land may be rezoned.

But expansion takes place from the centre of the of the residential zone, and if the Γα4 plot isn't adjacent to residential land, it will probably never be rezoned in your lifetime - if ever.

Suggest you focus your search on residential land.

I thought you were intending to buy an old house with your Cypriot girlfriend?)

Hi Nigel,
Yes, that's right, we got married in the meantime :-))
We're still looking for the one that will meet our criteria the most - the location, the size, the price of course... But we're not under much pressure.

This area does not look like it could be converted into a residential area. But it is the smallest plot of land in the area and there is no agricultural activity on it.
So individual rezoning on request is not possible?
