Could you please advise on the steps you took in order to acquire the right to rent properties as a non-EU citizen?
We've been hearing that this is not possible for us to rent since (as non-EU) we can only own a property for personal needs...

We own a villa in a village outside Paphos which is rented out to a British couple
L&G used to own next door but the developers swapped it for another of their properties.

One we rent out long term to a British couple and the other we use for holiday rentals and we have a tourist board license for the latter.

Many years ago the team from a garden centre on the *old* airport road came and killed the roots of a tree for us.
I think they drilled a hole in the stump and poured a noxious chemical in - it did the trick.
