VAT Refund on property

Hi Nigel
We purchased our new build property in 2005 and in 2017 once we had our title deeds we applied for a refund of the VAT we had paid and this was granted. We are now selling the property but have been told by our lawyer that as we received the rebate in 2017 and it is therefore less than 10 ...

Re: Building area

Thanks so much Pan - can I ask, can a pool house and a storage shed (block built) both with no windows, just a door, be built within 3 metres of a boundary wall?

Re: residential field ownership

Thanks Nigel

Unfortunately I don’t have copy of deeds and it isn’t advertised!

Can you tell me which has the highest build density H2 or H3 - I’m hoping it is the land I am interest in is the one with the least build density which will hopefully make it cheaper.

Cheers

residential field ownership

Is there any way of finding out if a ‘residential field’ is held by an individual, company or shared ownership? If so, can you please tell me how I find this information (preferably without contacting the land registry or letting the owners know that we are interested?
thanks for any guidance.

Bank owned property - responsibilities

Is it the banks responsibility, as the owners of a villa on a small complex, to clear the garden if it is excessively overgrown with shrubs and weeds and therefore a potential fire hazard?
Many thanks
