Private Road - EOA Water Supply Repairs etc.

Nigel

Hope you're well.
My wife and I own a villa in a small cul-de-sac with a total of twelve properties.

Recently there was a water leak on the supply side of the pipework outside one of the properties boundary wall which was reported to the new water company EOA and they came out in a timely ...

Re: Air BnB Issues

Nigel

Thanks for your response.

One further question to ask, so what I think you're saying is:-

Worse case scenario, if there was an accident in the pool, the complex MC (and/or the other property owners or just the MC?) could be sued for damages, as the Public liability Ins. would not pay up due ...

Air BnB Issues

Nigel

Just like to access your knowledge on the phenomenon that is 'AIR BnB'.

Imagine a small complex of 10 townhouses or so with a shared pool, parking areas, walkways etc. all paying into the 'maintenance' fund on a regular basis.
One of the properties then decides to go 'Air BnB' and rent the ...

Building Planning Permission Amnesty.......!

Hi Nigel

A few years back there was a 'planning amnesty' period where changes made to properties without planning permission could be formalised and added to plans etc.

I am aware this expired some time ago however I wondered if you were aware if another 'amnesty' period was ever likely to be ...

Re: communal fees - penalty fee

Nigel

Just to update you on our situation.

The BoC has now cancelled the original contract of sale to the original buyer with the land registry so technically the property title has never been separated from the developer who remains the current 'registered owner'.
However the developer has also ...

Re: Rules for UK nationals with MEU03 Buying Resale property

Pantheman, thanks for your reply.

I have two other questions you may be able to help with as follows:-

1. Can a married third country national who already jointly owns a property with their spouse, purchase a second property jointly with an EU citizen?

2. If yes to the above then could this ...

Just to update you we have now confirmed that the BofC have made a conscious decision NOT to repossess the house currently, not sure why? So currently the house is still in the original buyers names. They have however confirmed they have possession of the property and ...

Re: Communal Fees from empty property with Deeds still with the Developer

Nigel

Thanks for your reply. We may follow up with the Land Registry method to see if there is a lender involved and try to trace the owners.
One clarification please, all the houses are the same although the complex comprises two rows, one of three and one of six houses, with the end houses on the ...

Transfer Fee Clarification

Can anyone enlighten me as to which value is utilised to calculate Transfer Fees when Deeds are first obtained from the developer.
Is it the 1980 value (Euro), the price paid for the property when purchased (in 2006, converted from CYP Pounds to Euro) or the new 2013 valuation (Euro) utilised for ...
