What is the longest length of time any owner has had to wait for a refund of IPT from the Inland Revenue? I put in a claim with all the necessary documents (including copies of expired passports) 10 months ago. The refund is due because of an overpayment charged by my developer. Needless to say no refund has yet been paid despite reminders to the IR Office in Paphos.

I think it would be a little irksome to have to pay tax to the IR whilst they are withholding a considerable refund payment.

Someone at the eastern end of the island said that they had to wait 3 years before they received their refund.
