Hello,

i have a question regarding an evaluation done by Emporiki bank. I have a mortgage with them for my apartment in Paralimni.
I have just received a brutto email telling me they have done an evaluation of my apartment on jan 25th (without telling me in advance) and now they want to force me to pay 114 Euros for this evaluation. As they perform this without my aproval.
I do not want to pay. How should i handle this?

The first thing you need to do is look through your mortgage agreement to see if it mentions anything about the bank valuing the property at your expense.

If there is no mention of them valuing the property, I suggest you write to the bank rejecting their request.
