Hi Nigel,
it is believed our title deeds may be available in October - we currently have no contract of sale deposited in the Paphos Land registry - our previous Lawyer removed it back in 2005 -
The question I would like to ask on here - Will we be able to get our title Deeds as a result of not having Contract of sale deposited in Land Registry?

Hi Brookster

Yes, you should be able to get the deeds assuming that no-one else purchased the property subsequent to yourselves.

But unless you can demonstrate that you bought the property when you say you did, your property transfer fees will be based on today's market valuation rather than the date you purchased.

Have you instructed your present lawyer to kneecap the previous incumbent?
