Referring to reply from Viviane Reding re complaints about cyprus property problems - would you not conisider setting up a Fair Trade Comission (property) in Cyprus. I'm sure the government might consider funding one in Paphos and Larnaca to get the EU of its back. My secretarial services will be available.

In it's report to the Cyprus government, CPAG recommended "The immediate establishment of an independent Property Complaints and Arbitration Agency to address the current problems faced by buyers."

Regards,
That report was dated 2007 - I can see from the report that a lot of time and work was involved compiling the report but from my experience of dealing with governments i.e. my own government most of the members do not read reports and unless you follow up by meeting someone with some interest then reports are inclined to be shelved.
Isn't there a cypriot MEP?
