LR 45 day notice to relevant parties
It has been quite an uphill battle to get somewhat near to obtaining our deeds on a property we originally took possession of in 2006 and hopefully are nearly there. We have now been informed that the 45 day letter has been sent to interested parties by registered post. My question is does the 45 day period commence once the letter leaves the land registry or when all interested parties sign for the letter. I realise that a few weeks/months here or there makes no odds in the scheme of things but have to return to UK and had hoped that we would hear from LR that we could pay whatever monies are due to them before we go leave. Many thanks for reading this.

Hi Greenbean1948 and welcome to the forum.
The 45 day clock starts clicking when an interested party receives the notice. See Notice of Objection to Transfer.
Hopefully you'll be notified before you return to the UK.
Regards,

Thank you so much for your quick response, it was as I had thought. The process has been one step forward and one and a half back but we have to stay positive and hope this will be the last hurdle and will obviously keep you updated. Apologies as I believe I put my query under the wrong topic but had only just found this most helpful site and was too keen to put my question prior to finding my way round. Again many thanks.

Re: LR 45 day notice to relevant parties
There have been a number of times over the past 16 years and 1 month when we believed that we would never hold our title deeds in our hands but are very pleased to say that we have made it. Suppose the moral of the story is never to give up. Wish this positive note gives hope to others who are waiting as long as us. Best wishes GB48
