Immovable Property Tax
Immovable Property Tax
Probably a silly question but now we are not paying IPT on our properties, do we still have to pay our developer the IPT that was paid by him on our villa from 2006 - 2013. Also if we do, does the IPT start from when we take the property over or while it is being built. Many thanks.
Re: Immovable Property Tax
Yes, you have to reimburse the developer for taxes between 2006 - 2013.
You pay the tax (and all other dues) from the date your contract was signed and deposited at the land registry.
