Hello Nigel,,trust you are well.
We have someone who is very interested in buying our property.BUT.We cannot find or trace our ORIGINAL title deeds or sale of contract. We do however have copies of both.
The problem is that the solicitor who handled our purchase has vanished of the face of the earth and held our original sale contract.A little dozy of ourselves i must admit but have you any advice on what we should do as we really do not want to delay or jeopardize the sale.
Thanks Terry Liversidge

Re: Lost title deeds.
Hi Terry,
I'm fine thanks - looking forward to retirement
Getting an 'original' of your deeds is straightforward. If you visit the Land Registry office taking the copy with you and your passport, you can get another original. It will cost you €10.
Can't help with an original of your contract - but that shouldn't be necessary.
