State of the market

Post by PeteNotts »

Hello Nigel and team.
Just seeking an overview of the property market in Cyprus at present as we have a plot which we wish to sell in Pyla, Larnaca.
It is some years since we have visited, since before the collapse in 2008 in fact to we are looking to understand if property is selling and if the market is good bad or indifferent right now.

Also, for a seller like us, what would you think is our best avenue to find a buyer? Are there any particular agents who you could recommend who are quite successful in achieving a sale.

Since Brexit, has that complicated the process or are there pitfalls to be wary of?
Looking forward to refresh our understanding.

Hi Peter and welcome to the forum.

Pyla is one of four villages located in the UN Buffer Zone (the others are Athienou, Troulloi and Deneia.) I'm not sure what the market's like in the area.

Your best bet is to get in touch with Pantheman who's a regular contributor to this forum and a registered estate agent in the area at FSB Properties Ltd.
