Intellectual rights

Post by barryedwards »

Dear Nigel, are the Troodos Hills Management Committee regulations as found via your website, based on, or subject to, someone elses intellectual rights, and if so do we risk prosecution using them as a template for our own regulations.

Hi Barry and Happy New Year,

If you feel that you may be infringing copyright by using the Troodos Hills Management Committee regulations, I suggest that you download an English-language copy of the law from http://www.cyprus-property-buyers.com/f ... gs-law.pdf .

This contains the 'standard' regulations that you could use as a model for developing a set for your complex.

Hi again Nigel,
With respect, you have not answered my question. Since it was you that invented the Troodos Hills Management Committee, I ask again, is this document subject to any intellectual ownership.

Hi Barry,

I (eventually) found the original source of the document - neither the website nor the document are copyrighted - so there should be no problem.

I have sent you a PM with the website details where you can check for yourself.
