Hi,
Is there a legal requirement for lawyers practicing in Cyprus to be a member of the Cyprus Bar Association?
I know that the British High Commission list includes lawyer that are registered with the Cyprus Bar Association.
In the event that you use a lawyer who is not registered, how do you complain if the layer does not fulfill their responsibilities to the client?

I'm not sure if it's a legal requirement, but all practising lawyers should be members of the Cyprus Bar Association.BedotheCreak wrote:Is there a legal requirement for lawyers practising in Cyprus to be a member of the Cyprus Bar Association?
There is no-one you can complain to - you'll have to sue.BedotheCreak wrote:In the event that you use a lawyer who is not registered, how do you complain if the layer does not fulfil their responsibilities to the client?
