Re: Paschalis Developers

:-)) Thank you Nigel, I just wondered if there was a way around finding out the position without shelling out more money.

I'll get in touch with LZ, thank you.

Re: Andriana II. Kato Paphos

Hi Katka

I have a studio at Andriana 2.

I believe a new management company has taken over from Moonshadow Holdings.

Do you still need help?

Paschalis Developers

Hi All We bought an off-plan studio at Andriana 2 in 2007 and it completed in 2010. I know there is a developer mortgage on the property and Alpha Bank have issued us a waiver in respect of this. I am trying to find out the position of our Title Deeds. Paschalis are ignoring our emails (even to the ...

Re: Developer mortgages

Thanks for your help Pantheman - I guess I'll just have to think positive and hope that the developer mortgage is cleared so that I can get my Title Deeds. As to the negative equity - I don't like to disclose figures as it is actually quite embarassing (though it is nobody's fault, no one predicted ...

Title Insurance

Before we found out that there is an Encumbrance on our property (which, fingers crossed, could be paid off by now), we took out Title Insurance. It has given us a little bit of peace of mind. Anyone else interested can take a look here: http://www.intasure.com/title_insurance/index.asp?introducer=2...

Re: Developer mortgages

Thanks Pantheman, really appreciate your answer. The developer is a largish company, but all the horror stories you hear on forums etc does make me worry. I just dug out my contract between me and the developer and there is a clause that says: "The Purchasers bear no responsibility and they are not ...

Re: Developer mortgages

Hello again! Well, I had an encumberance search carried out and the developer did have a mortgage on the land before I signed my Contract. I realise that it could have (hopefully) been cleared by now as the developer has been selling the properties. I appreciate I am unable to find this out at this ...

Re: Developer mortgages

Many thanks Nigel for your help. I did think that asking for an online application may be a bit in the realms of wonderland!

I'll get the lawyer who did our Wills to have a look in to it. Fingers crossed it's not bad news!

Many thanks

PS I should add that I am in the UK and have no intention of visiting Cyprus. Can this be done online?

Developer mortgages

How do I find out if there is a developer mortgage on my property? I bought the property using the recommended 'independent' solicitor and having thrown lots of money at this purchase with various disputes am loathe to spend out any more money on finding out. Should my 'independent' solicitor be abl...
