Hi Just to say we got an independent lawyer on the advice of a friend although we did not know all correct things that should be in a contract. Now we have read up on things on forum (and Nigel's book), we are so glad we did. Friends who went with the lawyer offered by the developer are not so lucky...

Insurance of Communal Areas

Hi Nigel
Our residents association is taking over management of the communal pool etc from the developer. We need insurance which would claims resulting from injuries etc Do we need a lifeguard, toilets etc to be installed before we can apply for this insurance.
