Simply,a relation of ours has had a mortgage with the Bank of Greece here for 7 years and never missed an installment.Due to a small declne in their income,they have asked the bank if they could restructure their loan...The answere??.....a definate NO.

Hello Nigel,,trust you are well.
We have someone who is very interested in buying our property.BUT.We cannot find or trace our ORIGINAL title deeds or sale of contract.We do however have copies of both.

Yes Andrey,you can claim back the IPT you paid to your developer once you get your title deeds.We where told this and duly went about it...What a nightmare in paper work (mostly in Greek)..However our nightmare is over now because we simply give it up.And we know of many others in the same position ...

Pauline,i thought it was us who are paying the highest in the universe for communal fees....1,150 euros per year for a tiny little two bed apartment,and to add salt into the wound we don't even live in it

Our family are now the proud owners of the title deeds for three apartments.So we duly set about reclaiming the IPT for which we have paid the developers and we have the reciepts..
We completed the forms which we where advised to do and took them to the appropriate office at the land ...
