Our committee charges all apartments on our complex the same amount, regardless of size. They also have a very large 'sink fund' but our fees are not reduced. If the committee has a very large sum in the bank, can they still demand high annual fees? Can we ask for a reduction, or even suspension of ...

Thank you for the reply, however my main question was:
Could we obtain our title deeds as there are no encumbrances on our property or do we have to wait for the whole complex deeds to be issued? Thank you.

Title deed for an apartment
Our apartment has the final inspection certificate etc, but the developer has a mortgage on the complex.
We bought our apartment BEFORE this mortgage was taken out.
Should we be able to apply for our title deed separately or does the whole complex have to be cleared first?

We were looking to buy an apartment with title deeds and have found out that there are memos against the property.
I always thought that with title deeds you were secure against any charges of the developer, but maybe this is not the case???
