one other thing, after reading through the board I am aware that no Cyprus bank will lend on a property without the deeds, is this the same for UK banks? Even if you have approx 80% deposit.

The wife and I are considering (seriously) purchasing a property in Pissouri. I think we are getting a good deal based on my research. We attempted to buy about 3 years ago and got guzzumped. We got some great advise from Nigel via the other site hence our arrival here.
