Re: IS NOW THE RIGHT TIME TO BE BUYING IN CYPRUS?
Julie, sorry but totally disagree.NOW is the time to buy.Property here is at an all time low.The title deeds situation will sooner or later be resolved and prices will rise, why wait and pay more. Any way the title deed situation is not as bad as its made out to be.Of the thousands of properties sold...

Re: IS NOW THE RIGHT TIME TO BE BUYING IN CYPRUS?
The answer can only be NO!.....don't even think about wasting your hard-earned cash by buying anything in Cyprus - especially not something without title deeds. When you come to retire and want to sell the apartment and buy a villa you won't be able to. Better to save your money and watch the Cyprus...

Re: Satellite provision for large development
Hi Nigel, thanks for your response unfortunately I think that even if / when we get title deeds the general agreement for all owners on the development will still apply - thus preventing us from installing our own satellite the conduits for the cabling are being put in during the build process If we...

Satellite provision for large development
Hi Nigel I wonder if you can advise on what the owners on a large complex of apartments and a few villas ( 404 properties in total) should expect to pay to have satellite provision installed. The cost we have been given by the developer is 950 euros plus VAT per property (which makes it 1092 euros p...

Re: Swiss Franc Mortgage
Hi Ben The difference will depend on what you were expecting to pay based on how long ago you last looked at the rates You mention a figure in euros - was that the euro equivalent of the Swiss Franc repayment? If you're based in the UK and paid in £'s then it's the exchange rate with sterling that w...

Re: Who owns communal buildings?
Thanks Nigel, I thought as much. We have had legal advice but I'm beginning to think it wasn't very independent! I am considering discharging our current solictor and employing someone who might actually look after our interests - just hoping it's not all too late in the day. I assume a decent solic...

Who owns communal buildings?
Hi Nigel, Can you tell me who usually owns the communal buildings and facilities on a communal development (e.g. clubhouse, shop units, bar etc) We have purchased off plan on a development with such facilities and I was concerned to learn that at another development by the same developer, a charge w...

Alpha Panareti
Hi there, Just wanted to know if anyone can offer any reassurance ( suspect not!) to someone daft enough to have purchased a a 2 bed villa off-plan at the St George Hills Development which is being built by Alpha Panareti at Tremithousa, Paphos. We bought into the hype back in 2006 I'm afraid. AP pr...
