Yes very pleased to have got title deeds so quickly, a number of others have also recently got them on the Leptos devlopment where we bought!

Yes thank you Nigel, have deduced that I should be ok too. Thought process was that I did not inadvertently want to create a 3-5% surcharge on main residence move next year. In my opinion this tax appears very regressive !

Thanks Pantherman, couldn't agree more and will/are proceeding with caution until we have certainty from the lawyer's enquiries, there are far too many stories of issues with deeds or more accurately without deeds !

Ah thank you Nigel, clearly got confused by the language my lawyer has used, makes absolute sense now! Buying on an established site (tomb of the kings) and lawyer has said to with hold a certain figure to push along the title process which is what you suggestion is stating.
