Re: Application for access to landlocked parcel of land.

Thank you both, I will.

I feel this will be a long haul application but one has to start somewhere.

Application for access to landlocked parcel of land.

Does anyone know the name or number of this government form to apply for an access route of pathway across other owners land ? This is an agricultural parcel surrounded by others similar fields.

Thank you.

Zone G3

I'm aware it's near impossible to build on agricultural land with protection zoning Z1 and Z3. What's the deal with land zoned G3? The land I am looking at benefits from being next to a registered road. I have carried out a Google search but cannot find anything relevant in English. Would appreciate...

Re: Leveling Land & Laying Concrete Driveways

Hello Nigel, I was led to believe one could apply for permission for a single dwelling subject to various conditions including that the applicant did not own a property and that the land was within so X100m of a municipality maintained road (I have read of different distances from said road but arou...

Re: Leveling Land & Laying Concrete Driveways

Hi Pantherman,

Thank you.

In that case someone I know installed theirs without this permission! Not the first time I'm sure in Cyprus.

I will visit the land registry.

Thank you again.

Re: Leveling Land & Laying Concrete Driveways

Hello Nigel, I'm ahead of you. I've had the surveyor out and have marked all ten points on the plan - land is rarely square! It has 1% build but the plan is a prefab which I've been reliably informed does not require planning. Ok on the retaining wall but the land includes the complete top of the hi...

Leveling Land & Laying Concrete Driveways

Before I get in too deep and purchase a parcel of land I wonder if anyone in the forum has experience of leveling land, white rock rather than sand or mud! Is this too much for a regular bulldozer or are there contractors out there with specialist machine that combine crushing rocks while leveling? ...

Re: Costs involved in selling a house

Hello CDJ, Of course the cost will vary for both seller & buyer surely however some fees are fixed such as land registry, taxes while others to some degree are negotiable such as conveyancing cost and estate agent fee. You can shop around for a good deal with a lawyer and negotiate with most estate ...

Re: Costs involved in selling a house

Hello Nigel,

I note Pippa's post was dated 2013.

Have any aspects of your answer changed in the past three years?

We are going to be selling our apartment shortly here in Limassol.

One more question.

Where exactly can I find out about any unpaid IPT?

Many thanks.

Hello Nigel,

Thank you for the link.

It's worth a look if for no other reason to compare.

Thank you again.

Bank Repossessions

Nigel, Maybe you can answer this one. How do the banks depose of any repossessed properties? Are they sold at auction or via a particular estate agent chain? Any links would be appreciated even in the Greek language. I'm looking to purchase locally (Limassol city) and have come up against the inflex...
