Re: Motions for Annual General Meeting

Hi Nigel

Thank you for you reply, I have the Cyprus Law and I could not find any reference to motions either. Thanks for the tip on arranging an EGM.

Motions for Annual General Meeting

Dear Nigel Please could you answer the following: An Annual General Meeting date has been circulated by our Property Management Company but no invite for motions from owners. An agenda has now been received, with 2 motions included but no request from other owners. Is this right and do we have a leg...

Pursuing non payers of a complex

Hello Louise I wonder if you could let me know who should pursue non payers on a complex if the Committee is unable to be registered at the Land Registry due to the Developer not submitting the paperwork required. We have been told by our Deverloper it will be mid 2009. The Land Registry refuse to l...

Re: A question regarding non payers on complex

Hi Nigel

We are dealing with the Larnaca Land Registry Office, unfortunately we will not be able to use the solicitor of the case you mentioned as we cannot register the Committee.

Who pursue's non-payers in this respect, is it the Developer?

A question regarding non payers on complex

Hi Nigel Our complex have just had notification from the management company that it is seriously in debt due to non payers, even though this has not been highlighted to the community over the last year. They have not arranged our AGM which was due in October even though the Committee resigned in May...

Since the last 2 blocks ...

Re: Cess pit issues

Hi Nigel We specifically asked for 6 cess pit cleans as this issue started back in July 2007 albeit not on a regular basis, so we thought we would cover ourselves with 6 cleans per year, if they were not warranted, that would be OK. The developer has claimed in the past that the reason for the pit f...

Re: Cess pit issues

Hi Nigel Thank you for your welcome. Our complex is 3 years old! All owners contribute to 6 cess pit cleans per year, this was written into our agreement with the management company which is not a problem. It's just having to be emptied every 7-10 days now that is causing us to go over budget. We ha...

Cess pit issues

Hi Nigel I live on a complex of 12 apartments and up until last November we had no problems with the cesspit. Since this time we have had to have the cesspit emptied nearly every 2 weeks. The developer is trying to get all owners to contribute towards a new pit being installed at a cost of over 2,00...
