What makes your book so different from the other guides I've seen ?

There are many reasons that make my guide unique from others currently available in the bookshops:

  • I live in Cyprus & bought my first property here in 1992. My guide is based on:

    • More than 20 years of research into the Cyprus property market plus

    • The insider knowledge gained through my personal experiences of buying property and building my present home in Cyprus plus

    • More than 10 years of helping literally 100s of Cyprus property buyers.

Many of the other guides I have seen are:

  • Written by authors who have never bought property in Cyprus. They are paid by their publishers according to the number of books they sell and have little understanding of the problems faced by those buying property here. I bought my first Cyprus property in 1992 and I live here.

  • Written by companies that sell property in Cyprus. As well as being full of marketing hype, many of these are 'economical with the truth' and play down or gloss over the many problems & pitfalls. You will not find any marketing hype in my guide - it tells it like it is, warts & all!

  • Stuffed full of blatant advertising for currency exchange and insurance companies, financial advisors, mortgage brokers, estate agents, travel companies, overseas shipping and removal companies and other business partners, from which the authors no doubt receive payment when they introduce a client.   You will not find any advertising in my guide - or links to 'dubious' business partners!

  • Full of pretty photographs and useless "facts" that have nothing to do with buying property in Cyprus just to give them a high page count. You will not find any photographs or useless facts in my guide - just the truth about buying property in Cyprus!
