Hello Forum, I'm not sure if this is the place to ask, but would you know if there are limits to hours and days of buliding construction in Cyprus? My apartment is adjacent to a new development and it's relentless, 7 days a week often starting well before 0700? Is there any complaint route I can take? Many thanks for any advice guidance.

I can imagine that living next to a building site must be a nightmare with all the dust and noise. I believe there are limits to when work can start - I think it may be 6:30 am, but I'm not sure. If Pan is looking in, perhaps he can advise.

As for who to turn to - the Police - the builders are causing a nuisance.

I am not 100% on the times, but I would venture a visit to the town hall or district authority and speak to someone in planning.

There are bound to be restrictions including weekend working. I will ask some questions and get back if I can get a definitive answer.
