Cyprus Property Forum for Buyers, Sellers & Investors

I know this is not a good time to sell a house but circumstances make it a necessity. Living up in the mountains how do I go about finding a good agent who will take this on, or is there a better way of advertising especially to the Cypriot population. I have put the word around locally but so far no one has bitten, and I think I need to expand the advertising.

I think the first thing to do is advertise property on the Internet. Angloinfo at http://cyprus.angloinfo.com/ has a classified section that offers free advertising and also paid for advertising. Cyprus Expat at http://www.cyprusexpat.co.uk/ is another site that offers advertising - and you can also try http://www.cypruspropertyforsale.com/

You could also advertise it in the classified sections of the Greek (and Russian) media.

As for estate agents 'pantheman' is in the business and he may be able to help or perhaps may know of a company in your area. And also take a look at http://skekcyprus.com/ for registered agents in your area.

You could also let you local Community Office know that you want to sell and also your local tavernas, coffee shops, supermarkets, etc.
