immovable property?

Hi, can anyone (ok probably Nigel) tell me what the legal definition of immovable property is?
if its already been covered pls point my to the thread.

Hi bern
Immovable Property is a legal term that encompasses land along with anything permanently affixed to the land, such as buildings, and includes the rights to that property.

It also includes tress,. Anything embedded that cannot be picked up and moved.
For the purpose of taxation though it is what written on the title. Usually the land (size in m2) with or without a home or building registered on the title.
