Hi, i am new kid on the block in the sector of overseas properties. Is it worth investing in Cyprus or would they be somewhere else more worth while me investing in?
Well Pav Maybe this will help there is over 120000 Houses without title deeds in Cyprus many off them for many years, The Disciplinary Board on lawyers is overloaded with complaints some waiting for years for there case to come up.
You can have the standard answer If you use a Independant lawyer who will carry out his duties correctly check and find if the property you buy has title deeds or if the developer has a mortgage on the house or land. you MAY be ok.
Renting is probablay the best way for a year to find out if you like Cyprus. OR Think on another country where they have modern property laws that protect Home Owners.
