Hi Higel.......We have a Long Term RENTER on the complex (Well over sixth months continuous rental )the appartment OWNER has given the RENTER his proxy vote for an upcoming AGM.Another owner wishes to appoint the same RENTER as their proxy. Is this allowed or are the RENTERS only allowed to represent the owner of appartment they rent. Best Barry

Hi Barry

An owner can appoint anyone as their proxy:

"The appointment of a proxy must be made by a document signed by the person who appoints the proxy or by his representative. The proxy may be general or appointed for a specific meeting and does not have to be any owner."

There's no restriction.

Regards,

Thankyou

So the person nominated as proxy voter on a complex does not have to be an owner of a property on the complex ?
