Dear Nigel
One of the owners on our complex has given his property manager his power of attorney, letter of authorisation, and his title deeds.
The property manager wants to join the committee.
Obviously the other owners would need to vote on this at an AGM.
My question is, is it legal, or permissible for this non owner to become a voting member of the committee.

Yes, this is legal providing there are more than two members of the Management Committee.

Can you explain please - I don't understand what you're asking.

You can find the initial (2022) draft of the new Jointly-Owned Building law on my website by clicking here.
