Management Committee

Dear Nigel
One of the owners on our complex has given his property manager his power of attorney, letter of authorisation, and his title deeds.
The property manager wants to join the committee.
Obviously the other owners would need to vote on this at an AGM.
My question is, is it legal, or permissible for this non owner to become a voting member of the committee.
Thank you in advance for any information or guidance you can offer.

Yes, this is legal providing there are more than two members of the Management Committee.

Is it acceptable for the proxy if there were no title deeds from the owner.or deeds were in another name

However, there have been significant changes since then and a revised bill has yet to be put before Parliament. Latest news at
