Hello,

I have bought a newly built house last March. The house had many problems and now 12 months later i can see molt coming in from the seiling the wardrobes and basically everywhere.

The developer is useless and can't seem to be able to find or fix the issue.

what are my options? Can I sue? What do I need? How long does this take and what is the process?

Any good lawyers specializing in this area? I really want justice for me and my family this is really upsetting and also affecting our health and belongings.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear you have problems with your new home, which sounds to me they've been caused by shoddy building work.

It is normal when someone acquires new property that they get a guarantee for defects for a period of 12 months after delivery.

If you developer is refusing to fix the damp and mould you will need to get a lawyer involved. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office publishes a list of lawyers at List of lawyers for the Republic of Cyprus . I suggest you contact a couple of them in your area and see if they are able to help.
