Title Deed for Unfinished Project

Dear All,

We were offered a house in a project, where only 4 out of 15 were built. Obviously, currently there is no title deed for that house. The developer reputation is okay. We wonder if there is a way to obtain a title deed for such case house? We don't want to wait let's say 10 years that they finish the project to apply for title deeds. Anyone has been in such cases, any advise?

Thanks in advance.

Dear waldymar

If you want the Title Deed quickly (in geological time-frame) the developer will have to submit plans for the four houses he has built and get them approved. Then they'll need to be inspected by the planning authority and issued (hopefully) with a Completion Certificate and the file can then be passed to the Land Registry to issue the Title Deeds.

A few years ago the Interior Ministry said that incomplete projects could be issued with Title Deeds, but nothing happened.

I suggest you look elsewhere and focus on houses that have already been issued with their all-important Title Deed.

Regards,
