Do you happen to know what Land Registry fees (if any) are involved when assigning a contract to a new owner.

Hi Avanapa

The charge for depositing an assignment contract with the Land Registry is 0.5% on the sale price declared in your original contract of sale or 0.5% of the sale price declared in the assignment contract with your purchaser (whichever is greater).

The minimum charge is €50.00 and the maximum €3,000.00.
