Hi,

Is it possible to vote someone off the residents committee for communal complexes. Or when a current committee member re-applies for membership of the committee is it possible to veto their application ?

Hi Pauleus

You cannot veto an application from someone wishing to stand for election to the Management Committee. You need to have a sufficient number of owners to vote against him/her at the Annual General Meeting - and you'll need a second candidate.

It may be possible to vote someone off the Committee at an Extraordinary General meeting of owners. You will need at least 25% of the owners to call an EGM - and a majority of owners voting him/her out of office.
