Hi
I am in the UK and have understood there to be a new IPT form for submission. I am not yet in possession of my titles deeds and understand that this year it needs to be signed by the developer?
Also there is some boxes I dont know what to input including
- Parish
- Plan
- Block of Reg No
- Share
anyone know what goes in these boxes?
I never paid anything last year and believe the 2013 value will also be under the threshold.
help appreciated

Hi Brizo83
The procedure for paying IPT this year is the same as last and the tax is still calculated on 1980 values.
You can see how to complete the forms at
http://www.news.cyprus-property-buyers. ... id=0039392
You can email the IPT section at the relevant tax office and they will send you the latest forms and information:
Nicosia
iptnic@ird.mof.gov.cy
Limassol
iptlim@ird.mof.gov.cy
Larnaca
iptlca@ird.mof.gov.cy
Paphos
iptpaph@ird.mof.gov.cy
Famagusta
itaxplmi@ird.mof.gov.cy
Parish = village/town in which the property is located
Share = your share of the property - if you bought in joint names this will be 50% - if you bought in a single name 100%, etc.
Plan = The plan number from the Land Registry.
(In many cases the above is shown in a contract of sale.)
Not everyone has been asked to complete the forms again - I haven't been able to find out why.
If you haven't done so already, you should apply for your Title Deeds - see
http://www.news.cyprus-property-buyers. ... id=0096019

Nigel
thanks thats very helpful
our developer is refusing to sign the forms which leaves us in a tricky position. Despite a lot of protests and someone standing for one hour demanding it in his office he still refused.
I am going to need to send it explaining why its not been signed by the developer
Is there any place also where you can get the 2013 value? or does that have to come from the developer?
rgds

As far as I am aware your developer doesn't need to sign any forms?
According to the chap I contacted at the Tax Office in Nicosia -
"In case that the vendor (developer) of the property is unwilling to provide the buyer with all information needed to complete the above mentioned Form, the buyer may provide us with any information that would be useful in order to be able to proceed with a valuation of the property as at 1/1/1980. This information may include description of the property such as the area where the property is located, square metres of the land and building, description of the building e.g. house, apartment, number of rooms etc."
Does the form have a reference number?
Can you get in touch with me via my
contact form and scan or photograph the form ready to send to me when I reply.
Regards,

Hi Nigel
There is a new 2015 form as far as I have been told. I shall send it via the contact form just now.
The link you sent to forms was for the 2014 version.
I maybe wrong though dont proclaim to be an expert

Hi Brizo83
Thanks for the form - the 2015 form is virtually the same as the 2014 form - BUT as you will see from my latest email to you it's the developer's responsibility to complete the form (last year's form had to be completed by the purchaser.)
If your developer refuses to sign it, I suggest you take it to the tax office as it is.
The 2013 value can be found on the Internet at
http://parcel.dls.moi.gov.cy/search/ParcelSearchEN.aspx (I have tried to find your property using the information on the form you sent me - but I haven't been able to find it.)
Regarding the form:
Parish is not applicable (there are no parishes in Liopetri)
Sheet is the reference to the cadastral plan where the property is shown (I believe this is incorrect on the form as there aren't more than 454 million sheets of cadastral plans for Liopetri.
However the 1980 value is below the threshold so you will not be liable for any IPT this year.
I suggest that you contact the Land Registry that deals with Liopetri (
itaxplmi@ird.mof.gov.cy ) and explain the situation.
A couple of questions:
Who sent you the form?
Where did you get the Sheet number from?
